The 2021 edition of the MOA includes a few language clarifying changes as well as the below significant changes:
Radiology
- A statement has been added to indicate that the candidate will be awarded a Fatal Flaw if the radiographs submitted do not include the correct anatomic region for the suspected diagnosis
Equine Practice
- EQ03 – Videos will be used to test candidates’ ability to describe signs of lameness and determine the lame limb. Note that, while candidates will no longer use a live horse for visualization of a lameness, the candidate will still use a horse for demonstration of skills associated with a lameness physical exam and for identification of anatomic structures.
- EQ03 – Candidates will be expected to describe management and/or treatment recommended for the horse based upon the diagnosis.
It is your responsibility to read the entire Manual of Administration to ensure that you understand what will be expected of you during the 2021 CPE.
